The entrance to the Black Stars training pitch and its surroundings was submerged in water on Wednesday.
But, the turf itself wasn't affected making it still good for the Black Stars to use it when they arrive on 14th January for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

However, it is a cause for concern since the surroundings is not football friendly, so the organisers need to drain the water.

The pitch belongs to local a football side A.S.Sogara.
The Black Stars will begin the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations campaign in a tie against Uganda on 17th January, 2017.
