  • Business Insider Africa presents the top 10 youngest billionaires in Africa.
  • This list is courtesy of Forbes Magazine.
  • The youngest person on this list is Mohammed Dewji at 48 years.

Young billionaires have a special place in our world because of the viewpoints they often offer, the innovation they represent, the ground-breaking concepts they design, and a desire to leave a lasting impression.

It is impossible to stress how important they are to determining the future of an economy, and how motivational their journeys are, particularly to young billionaire aspirants.

However, young billionaires in Africa are few and far between. Most of the top high-net-worth individuals on the continent are well into or above their middle ages, leaving a glaring social generational gap between billionaires and young people looking to one day become like them.

This, however, does not change the fact that some billionaires are simply younger than others, and with that in context, Africa still has relatively young billionaires. Below are the 10 youngest billionaires on the continent.
