A 13-year-old Ghanaian student, Atweeh(not real name), has dropped out of school after her neighbour raped and impregnated her in the Bidima community in the West Gonja District of Ghana's Northern Region.

Reports say she was the most brilliant student in her class at Bidima DA Primary School, and planned to become a nurse.

According to Atweeh's teacher who was quoted by Ghana online news platform, YEN, the neighbour who raped her used to give her private before the incident.

“The guy used to help them at night with lessons so he called her to his room and then when she entered he locked the door and had sex with her," the teacher said.

The Approved judgement simply mentions that COMMISSIONS paid to Agents of Airbus were in excess of what is approved by the European Commission’s OECD Rules. Simplicita!

The alleged rapist however said he has plans to marry her in the future.

Jinx At Work?

Atweeh's tragedy is a community problem.

gathered that cases of female students dropping out of school due to pregnancy is a common occurrence in Bidima and Atweeh was set to be the first female in the community to complete Senior High School.

She is on record as the fourth girl to drop out of the same school in 2015.

Taken in the superstitious African context, one would assume that the community is under a jinx.
