Jeffrey Quaye and Gabriel Sasu came short in the final and only managed to place third, behind West Africa Senior Secondary School (WASS) and eventual winners St. Peter’s Boys’ Senior High School.

The final of the quiz competition, which was held at the National Theatre on Thursday, saw St. Peter’s emerge victors with 45 points, WASS with 44 and Adisadel with 39.

Adisadel College came into the competition as favourites, having also made the final in last year’s competition.

However, they stumbled in the fourth round 4 which led, allowing their competitors to overtake them.

Apart from Mr Agyapong, other entities also donated cash to all the participants who took part in the finals.

Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo the reps from St. Peter's are scheduled to meet President Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House after the President stated that his doors are open to the winners of the quiz competiton.
