Rahman played and captain the Kweiman based club to gain promotion to the second division before joining Asante Kotoko on loan in the 2011/12 season.
Dreams FC have since carved a niche for themselves as they defied all odds to seal a qualification to the domestic top-flight championship.
"I am happy to see Dreams FC play at the top level of Ghana football, it is very good for everyone. They have done a great job to get to this far" Baba told Dreams FC website.
"As far as I am on holidays I will always be watching their games in the GPL,” the Chelsea defender ended.
Rahman is currently on holidays in Ghana after his team finished 10th on the log sheet at the end of the English Premier League.
