Alleged Anas’ boy kidnapper to be arraigned today

ASP Ebenezer Tetteh, Spokesperson for the Police in the Northern Region, told Joy News that Adamu Asuma will be put before court today while they continue search for other accomplices.

The Northern Regional Police Command will today arraign before court the suspected kidnapper of a member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ investigative team.


Ishmael Hussein was reported to have been kidnapped on Saturday morning but was later rescued after the news of his kidnapped got to the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Alhassan.

The Police were able to arrest one of the kidnappers but his counterparts are on the run.

Hussein was one of the undercover investigators who revealed the corruption in the country’s judicial system.

Over 30 Judges from the high and lower courts, over 100 court clerks, State Attorneys and personnel from the Police Service were captured on camera taking bribes to subvert the course of justice.

So far, seven Judges have been suspended.
