Sulley Muntari and Keisuke Honda touch down in Uganda for UN tour

The duo landed at the lake side Entebbe International Airport on Friday afternoon.

Muntari, who played alongside the Japanese at Milan in 2015, has backed his former playing colleague, who is a UN ambassador for  ‘Global Advocate for Youth’.

The duo landed at the lake side Entebbe International Airport on Friday afternoon and were ushered in at the VIP section, accompanied by local and foreign journalists.

A relaxed Honda hinted on plans to help develop Uganda’s football for the better through his company, Honda Estilo.

"I want to give opportunities to all children all over the world to have a dream," Honda said.

"I want to establish a soccer school in Uganda.

"But first, I want to get a professional football club to work with in Uganda. I will support Uganda’s football because I want to see Uganda play at the World Cup."
