Albert Antwi-Boasiako is the Founder & Principal e-Crime Consultant of e-Crime Bureau Inc., a panAfrican cyber security and digital forensics firm based in Accra.
He will oversee the implementation of the National Cyber Security Policy and Strategy (NCSPS).
This forms part of measures being undertaken by the Ministry to build a comprehensive cyber security management architecture that coordinates cyber security services.

His appointment also comes at a time that the country is beginning moves to protect the country’s cyberspace especially on the back of recent global cyber attacks.
Mr Antwi-Boasiako is, therefore, expected to assist the Ministry to implement the policies and programmes aimed at addressing Ghana's cyber security challenges.

Albert attended the University of Trento in Italy where he graduated with first class. He further enrolled in the Forensic Information Technology programme for his post-graduate studies at the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom where he graduated with distinction, receiving overall post-graduate best student award from the School of Computing of the university for his investigative project which uncovered emerging trends of online criminal activities on eBay auction platform.
Albert is currently a PhD Fellow at the University of Pretoria, South Africa where he is undertaking a research project on Digital Forensics Standardization within the Information & Computer Security Architecture (ICSA) Research Group.
As a cyber security and digital forensics professional, Albert has been active in providing cyber security and high tech crime investigation services & training to financial institutions, attorneys, intelligence agencies and the law enforcement on ICT security, cybercrimes, cyber threat profiling and high tech crime investigations across Africa & Europe.
