The founder of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has insisted that the party will taste victory in the 2016 presidential election.
Mrs Rawlings said this on the back of moves by the party to mobilize more members at the grassroots level.
She was speaking in the Eastern regional capital Koforidua, Saturday, at a swearing in ceremony for 15 appointed regional functional executive members.
According to Nana Konadu, the party, when voted into power will ensure transparency and justice in the administration of the state.
“I believe that when we started the NDP it was with the conviction that we can improve what other parties were doing,” Mrs. Rawlings said.
“We believe certain situations happening in Ghana needed to be changed… bringing back the honesty in Ghanaians, probity and accountability… because you can’t talk about peace when you don’t have normal justice,” she said.
