Kumchacha picks presidential nomination form
Prophet Kumchacha said he is ready to pay the GHc50,000.00 filing fees and contest the elections with a high hope of forming the next government.
The controversial prophet said he is ready to pay the GHc50,000.00 filing fees so he can contest in the general elections. He was hopeful he would form the next government after the 2016 general elections.
In an interview with Accra-based Onua FM on Friday, September 16 2016, he said if men of God lead the country, the people will prosper.
He also indicated that he has chosen a fellow pastor Sofo Danso, as running mate. Kumchacha added that he has formed a party known as Jesus Party with office branches in Accra and Kumasi and is currently opening offices in other parts of the country.
Meanwhile fifteen presidential nominees have so far picked nomination forms from the Electoral Commission in a bid to contest in the December 7 presidential elections.
Presidential and parliamentary candidates are mandated to a filing fee of GH¢50,000 and GH¢10,000 respectively but several political parties have raised concerns with the pricing.
