Emmanuel Adebayor also makes his first start for Crystal Palace in one of three changes for the visit to Swansea.
The forward, who debuted from off the bench in midweek, is one of three changes from the Palace side that fell 2-1 to Bournemouth, with fit-again Yohan Cabaye and Jordon Mutch slotting into midfield in place of James McArthur and Jason Puncheon, who are both out.
For the home side there is just one change from their 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion, as Albert Paloschi starts in place of Ki Sung-yeung, who suffered a head injury during the stalemate.
