Three people were on Monday evening hit by stray bullets at Bubiashie in Accra when some suspected robbers attacked a forex bureau operator and robbed him of an unspecified amount of money.
Samuel Ayitey Okine who is the forex bureau operator was shot three times in the leg before the robbers, who were four in number and heavily armed overpowered him along the Tawiah France Street and took away his money, 3news.com reports.

Afrifa, an eyewitness said: “two of the robbers waited at the gate with motorbikes, while the other two followed the victim upstairs upon his return from work. They struggled with him and shot him, thrice in his leg; escaping with an undisclosed amount of money while shooting indiscriminately.”

Following the indiscriminate shooting, a resident was shot in the leg, the other in the arm with another person being scathed by a bullet.

The police SWAT team were deployed to the scene to restore order.
The victims were rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for treatment.
