Ghana international Andre Ayew has been named on the final three-man shortlist for 2015 Best Player in the CAF Glo awards.The Ghanaian will run against Pierre-Emerick Aubameyan of Gabon and Yaya Toure of Ivory Coast.Another Ghanaian player Yaw Yeboah has also been nominated for the CAF Youth Player of the Year

The Africa Centre for Energy Policy, ACEP is urging government to put the entire details of the AMERI deal in the public domain for proper scrutiny.Government is under intense pressure to explain how it allegedly signed a major power deal with wanted Norwegian fraudster.The Power Ministry in a statement has denied all the issues raised by VG a Norwegian newspaper on the deal with government.

A seventy two year old Bukinabe ,Moro Satta has been arrested at Akwatia line a suburb of Kumasi for possessing sophisticated weapons and ammunitions.The police also said they have arrested four armed robbers who buy weapons from Moro Satta for their robberies.

The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission has made an arrangement to help Utility providers like the Volta River Authority and the Electricity Company of Ghana clear their heavy indebtedness to banks.The Volta River Authority has found it increasingly difficult to   borrow from banks to buy crude oil and other materials to power some of the country's power plants due to the energy provider's heavy -indebtedness to these banks.
