Madrid players to receive ₵11.2 million each for denying Asamoah European title

Fiorentino Perez, the President of Real Madrid is expected to hand a cash prize of GH₵11,239,384.00 million (2 million pounds equivalent) each to the playing body of the club for beating Kwadwo Asamoah’s Juventus to emerge champions of Europe for the 12 time.

Kwadwo Asamoah and his Juventus side missed out on the UEFA Champions League title after they were mauled 4-1 by Real Madrid.

The bonus which is understood to be the highest in football history is expected to be received by the players for achieving a double of league and UEFA Champions League for the first time since 1959 in club’s history

The bonus structure is done differently in Madrid, with the amount handed out being the personal decision of club president Florentino Perez rather than written into players' contracts, as is done in the Premier League.
