Joshua showed the stars how it was done when he stepped up to punch the bag himself.

The humble heavyweight champion was on the sofa for Graham Norton's BBC chat show, where he was asked to talk some stars through how to hit a punching bag.

Actors Martin Freeman and Rachel Weisz, as well as comedian Greg Davies, were the lucky recipients of the lesson, with Weisz even opting to throw off her high heels.

Joshua too stripped off his waistcoat for more mobility, as he taught his fellow celebrities how to stand for their one punch on the machine.

After Weisz had recorded 182, Freeman 594 and Davies 632 - plus a cameo 417 for Norton himself - AJ stepped up to smash the high score on the machine.

Clearly not at full power, the Watford-born boxer hit an 848 with his sole attempt, showing a glimmer of the skills which helped him beat Wladimir Klitschko in April.

Joshua now holds the IBF, WBA and IBO world heavyweight titles with a 19-0 record after his huge victory at Wembley Stadium.
