Wake up early

Successful people are early risers. They get 30-40 minutes to work on their personal projects before the family wakes up.

Use these early hours to plan your day, catch up on emails, exercise or simply enjoy a relaxing breakfast and some quality 'alone' time. Moms are encouraged to get a healthy amount of sleep every day. Sleep early and wake up early before your child.

Buy things in bulk

Going to the supermarket more than thrice with your children can take a toll on you.

Are you stuck in traffic for 45 minutes every day on the way to work? Take advantage of this time and do something for yourself. You can create a blog and write your daily experiences, listen to audiobooks, or make some artworks.

Cook ahead on the weekend

Spend Saturday afternoon preparing dinners for the rest of the week. Freezer in smaller quantities preferably in microwavable bowls with the days boldly written on top.

If you have food prepared ahead of time, it won't matter if you get stuck in traffic or have to work a little late.The oldest person in the family can heat up the food for the kids.
