As Lamar Odom continues to fight for his life a Las Vegas hospital, estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian has reported flown his father, Joe Odom from Los Angeles and his two teenage children - Lamar Jr. and Destiny - from New York to Nevada to be the star's bedside.

"Khloe wanted Odom’s kids and father to be near him, both for themselves and for the basketball player, as he battles for his life," a source claims.

The 31-year-old reality star of course, extended an olive branch to Joe, who trashed the Kardashians in the past when Lamar's drug problems first came to light in 2013. Joe said at the time, "They don’t give a [expletive] about my son… They brought him down. He’d be better off without them."

Odom, for his part, later took to Twitter to defend the Kardashians. After tweeting his mostly absentee dad’s “own demons may be the ONLY thing he gave 2 me,” Lamar added of the Kardashians, “They are the ONLY ones that have been here consistently 4 me during this dark time… Say what you want about me but leave the ones who have done nothing but protect and love me out of this.”

Odom and ex-girlfriend Liza Morales were together for a decade before breaking up in 2008. While together, they had three children. The youngest, Jayden, died when he was only six months old from SIDS.

As we previously reported, Odom was found unresponsive on Tuesday, October 13 in a Nevada brothel, where he had allegedly been doing crack cocaine and others drugs since Saturday. It’s believed his hard partying mixed with the use of an herbal substitute for Viagra is what caused Odom to become unconscious and suffer multiple strokes, which likely have resulted in irreparable brain damage.

The former athlete is currently breathing via a ventilator.
