When asked about the stories making the rounds on social media about her marital issues, Tonto said,

"I've read them too, I've seen them too. Truly they hurt. That's the word I can use to quantify how I feel about it.

"It is only because I am a public figure that the word is out there. In all of this, i am praying for strength, I'm praying for wisdom. I'm praying for everything that I can to move on and go ahead.

"It is a bitter experience for me air. Being here alone it's.... it's not easy."

Fighting back tears, she adds, "I am here because... I'm here because I believe that I will be helping someone, somewhere."

All the same, Tonto revealed that she does not regret getting married as she tries not to regret anything and sees that every experience makes you a stronger person.

Since the controversial actress confirmed her split from her husband, Churchill Oladunni, she has hurled several accusations at him, ranging from domestic violence to abandonement.
