The end of 2019 makes the end of a decade and as such, pulse.com.gh takes a look back at the celebrity weddings that can not be forgotten within the last ten years.

These weddings raked headlines with some of them leading to some of the longest marriages in the Ghanaian showbiz industry.

The veteran Ghanaian rapper celebrated ten years of marriage this year and he revealed that they had a simple ceremony which cost them GH300 as at that time. Certainly, we cannot forget about this wedding which has also seen the couple blessed with two children.

At the age of 45, celebrated Ghanaian broadcaster, Gifty Anti tied the knot with Nana Ansah Kwao IV in 2015. The royal wedding which received huge media attention in Ghana was attended by some of Ghana’s A-list personalities including former President John Agyekum Kufuor. The couple were blessed with a daughter after two years of their marriage.

The Ghanaian dancehall act got married to Dr Louisa in June 2017. Before their wedding, Louisa once made headlines for bagging the best student award with other awards during her graduation but nobody suspected she was dating the dancehall act. Their star-studded wedding, therefore, attracted a myriad of headlines. They now have a daughter and a son together.

The 31-year-old Ghanaian media personality got married to one Ahuma Cabutey Adodoadji on October 4, 2014. The couple has been reported to be seeing each other for 7 years before their marriage. Lydia Forson and a few Ghanaian celebrities were at their nuptials. They have been blessed with babies that their mother has never shown off online.

In May 2018 at a traditional wedding, the actor shockingly got married to Gifty Mawunya, whom nobody suspected he was dating. A year later, they had a white wedding and several A-list entertainment personalities, including Nigerian actor and politician Desmond Elliot, Jackie Appiah, James Gardiner, Nadia Buari, Fred Nuamah, were in attendance for the special day. Mr and Mrs Dumelo have a son now.

The ‘Ma Kwan’ rapper ended his six-year-old marriage with his American wife, Ann in 2014 and two years later got married to Nana Pokuaa Kyei Baffour. Their traditional marriage took place in Kumasi on and was followed by a white wedding, held at the residence of NPP MP Ursula Owusu, in East Legon.

The rapper's wedding happened not long after his release from prison and it attracted wide media attention. Kwaw and his wife were blessed with two children but sadly lost his son 3 days after his birth.

The Kumawood actress gave hope to those who may have lost hope in love. Mercy found love at age 45 and got married 3 years ago to Chief of Kunsu in the Ahafo Ano South District in the Ashanti Region. The Love story of the old lovers caught the media attention after their royal wedding.

After almost a decade of dating and welcoming a daughter, Sarkodie tied the knot with Tracy Sarkcess in July 2018. The private white wedding ceremony which happened at Labadi Beach Hotel saw a few celebrities like Joselyn Dumas, George Quaye among others as their wedding guests.

The Ghanaian singer got married to Tobi Oluwatobi Sanni Daniel, former business manager for Nigerian artiste, Ice Prince in August 2018 at a ceremony held in Accra. Efya, Sandra Ankobiah, Zynnell Zuh, Jackie Appiah among others were among her wedding guests. The singer has welcomed a daughter with her husband.

The Ghanaian actress and her boyfriend had their engagement ceremony at her residence on Friday, August 5, 2016. Nana Ama McBrown and Maxwell Mensah later exchanged their vows at their white wedding which took place on the same day at the Christ Apostolic Church at Alajo in Accra.

The wedding was strictly by invite, therefore, only a few photos from the ceremony came out with others exclusively published top Ghanaian magazines. The couple welcomed their first child this year.
