Pemba narrated how he survived saying he drank water dripping from wet clothes and also ate pots of clarified butter and prayed for people to find him.
A 15-year-old boy, Pemba Lama has been rescued from the rubble of a building in Kathmandu five days after an earthquake hit the town. He was staying in a guest house when the unfortunate incident happened.
Pemba was pulled out alive after rescue workers from Nepal and the US worked for hours and he was said to have been taken to a field hospital.
He narrated how he survived saying he drank water dripping from wet clothes and ate pots of clarified butter and prayed for people to find him. He also said there were still people shouting from under the rubble he was found.
"There were so many people around me in the rubble. They were screaming”, he told BBC. The rescue workers have however not been able to get to them.
