Parties to any relationship are at liberty to opt out of the union at any point in time they feel and are convinced that it is not in their interest, but dumping a bride at the altar and walking away is the last thing any woman would anticipate of their partner.

That was the situation a Nigerian woman had to deal with when she ran after her enraged groom who had abandoned her at the altar in Warri, Delta state, in a bid to plead for forgiveness.

It is unclear what exactly the poor woman had done to make the unidentified man come to such a heart-breaking decision at a time all hopes are high.

A video of the incident circulating online shows the man walking away from the wedding ground to Robinson plaza in the same area with a huge crowd following and begging him to reconsider his decision.

The woman could also be seen putting her two hands on her head as she followed the adamant groom, asking for forgiveness.
