Here are all the popular herbs to whiten your teeth

For those who want natural teeth whitening remedies, here are 4 easy ways to get started.

If you have tried all the known teeth whitening procedures but you are still hiding behind the crowd in public because of your yellow teeth then pay attention here.

Enough of the spending, there are some herbs that can solve your mood of discomfort in public.

  • Bay leaf

The bay leaf is one such herb for whitening your teeth, but it needs to be mixed with a citrus fruit. Take one leaf and crush it into very small pieces.

Crush a citrus fruit peel (can be an orange or a lemon) into a fine powder. Mix the powder and the leaf together to create a mixture that you can use to brush your teeth. This concoction must be applied up to three times a week.

  • Guava leaf

The guava leaf is also another herb for getting rid of yellow stains and it is also good for preventing bad breath. Simply take a leaf and crush it with a mortar and pestle to make a paste.

Rub the crushed leaves on your teeth and brush it with your toothbrush.

  • Turmeric powder

Turmeric is a great herb for oral whitening. Wash your brush and dip it in 1/8th turmeric powder. Brush your teeth and allow the turmeric to sit in for 3-5 minutes and then rinse it off. Follow it up with your regular toothpaste.

  • Sage

Sage has astringent properties and is antibiotic and anti-fungal, making it a great natural teeth whitener. Mix up a whitening tooth scrub powder and use once or twice a week.
