4 Weird Beauty Tips That Work

We bet you didn't know about these 'weird' beauty tips that actually work.

Sometimes things we would necessarily overlook form a part of tip that actually makes our 'beauty life' easier. From switching our moisturizer to being a cleanser, baking soda coming in handy for stained nails, we have few seemingly weird but effective beauty tips you should try.

1. If for instance, nail polish has left a dreaded stain on your nails, which refuses to go away despite repeated swipes of the polish remover? Dip a lemon wedge in  baking soda to scrub your nails, it comes out squeaky clean.

2. To remove all of the build up; oils, dirts etc in your hair (oil and product build up can clog up your scalp and put a halt on your hair growing!) mix baking soda in water to create a paste, and use that to wash your hair. Rinse the baking soda out with a mixture of apple cider vinegar for a completely natural, clean head of hair.

3. Any facial moisturizer can do double duty as a makeup remover in a pinch. Simply pour onto a ball of cotton and wipe across the face to remove makeup, then rinse off with warm water. Or, apply on a Q-tip and use with a light hand to clean up smudged liner and flaky mascara.

4. For Ultra-dry lips dab on a little bit of honey – it is excellent for repairing dry and cracked skin, while simultaneously warding off bacteria.
