Booze Becomes Art Here's What Your Favorite Drink Looks Like Under A Microscope

Happy hour never looked so good. Blown up to the size of posters, these colorful abstractions are pure modern art.

When you look at your cocktail, what do you see?

A glass? Ice? A fun paper umbrella? Sure, that's what you'd see if you casually glanced at a drink as the bartender slides it over to you. But try looking closer. Like, microscopically close.

These high-quality photographs of your favorite beers, wines, cocktails, liquors, and mixers were taken after they were crytallized on a slide and shot under a polarized light microscope. As the light refracts through the beverage crystals, the resulting photos feature naturally magnificent colors and composition.

These designs have also been added to a number of items, like wall printscoasters, and flasks, so you can surround yourself with your favorite beverages in a way that is more "modern art enthusiast" and less "functional alcoholic."
