The Companion app lets you contact anyone on your contacts whenever you don’t feel safe with its unique features, and they don’t even have to have the app.

Companion acts as your virtual bodyguard and calls for help when you need it

Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve felt less than safe? Have you ever had to make that phone call to let whoever is trailing you or stalking you as walk to the library know that you have people that know where you are and can come to your aid?

Well, this very cool app makes you feel a lot safer. The Companion app lets you contact anyone on your contacts whenever you don’t feel safe with its unique features, and they don’t even have to have the app.

Companion lets you input your location and destination when you’re about to make a journey. The app will track your movement and will periodically ask “Are you OK?” with a large green “Yes” button on the screen. If you do not hit that button within fifteen seconds, it will dial the number you have preselected alerting the contact that you are in danger. Cool, right?

The app can also detect if you start running, your headphones have been taken out of the jack, and will begin the 15-second countdown before contacting your friend or family member.
