I didn’t mean to show my nipples - Victoria Lebene

Actress Victoria Lebene apologizes for showing her Nipples at MzVee’s birthday party.

Pictures popped up online of the actress wearing a fitted top which showed her prints recently. These photos caused tons of social media conversations with many accusing the actress of using her apparel as an attention seeking ploy.

In an interview with Graphic.com.gh, the 29-year-old actress says she is no attention seeker thus she didn’t need such a gimmick to catch anyone’s eye.

“No, not at all, that is not me; I am not an attention seeker and I know the right things to do to get to the top. The more reason, I believe in hard work and bidding my time", she said.Victoria Lebene also stated, "I know when the time is right; I will get there but to leave home with the intention of doing this to get to the top? Ohh no. “As someone who knows how important it is to build a brand, keep and maintain it, I will not engage in a thing like that on purpose."I feel bad myself and this is not something I would want people to emulate. That part of the body is supposed to be private and not for public viewing”, Victoria Lebene told Graphic Showbiz.“I am therefore aplogising to everyone. I am very sorry for what happened. I want my fans, the brand I represent and my family to know I am very sorry but the truth is that, I will not intentionally wear a blouse just show my nipples. For what purpose?“As a brand influencer, I have a lot of people who look up to me so I will not want to do anything that will tarnish their image. There is no way I will expose my chest just in the name of fame.

Victoria Lebene asserted in explaining what happened that , “It was at MzVee’s birthday party at Movenpic Hotel and I had jacket over my blouse. So while taking pictures, I pulled my jacket down my shoulders little without thinking much about it. I had no idea my nipples were visible like that in the top I was wearing.

One issue that her ‘wardrobe malfunction’ episode brought up  was that some netizens wanted to know what she really does for a living because they do not see the movies she claims she features in.“I am an actress, I have starred in a number of movies. The fact that my movies are not on the market or all over the place does not mean I am not working. You know, after shooting a movie, a lot more goes into it before it hits the market.“Apart from that, I have some ambassadorial deals and these things show that, I am working. Like I said earlier, I am taking my steps gradually and with time, Ghana, Africa and the world will hear of me", she added.
