Here's the Trailer for for Chris Pratt and Ethan Hawke's New Western 'The Kid'

It doesnt matter whats true, it matters the story they tell when youre gone, Ethan Hawkes character says in the trailer for The Kid. The story here is that of legendary outlaw Billy the Kid and the lives of those who cross his path.

Here's the Trailer for Chris Pratt's New Westerm

The Kid stars Dane DeHaan as Billy, with Ethan Hawke as Pat Garrett, the lawman on his trail. The film is helmed by actor-turned-director Vincent DOnofrio (best known for playing Wilson Fisk in Netflixs Daredevil), who also appears in the film as Sheriff Romero. DOnofrio knows his westerns; he starred in the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven alongside Ethan Hawke and Chris Pratt, and reunites his two co-stars here, although they will be playing adversaries this time around.

The villain of the piece is none other than Pratt, who looks to be playing against heroic type here as Grant Cutler, the menacing and violent uncle of young Rio (played by newcomer Jake Schur). Much of the film appears to be told from Rios perspective, as he flees his uncle, encounters Pat Garrett, and brings the brutish Cutler into his crosshairs.

All of this plays out while Garrett is chasing down fugitive Billy, in a game of cat and mouse based on real events from the last year of the outlaws life.

While the films title obviously refers to Billy, it applies doubly to the character of Rio, whose story becomes entwined with that of the outlaw and the lawman, and who must ultimately decide for himself the kind of man he wants to be. Audiences can find out which road he ends up taking on March 8, when The Kid opens in the United States.
