Blue is one of the most natural colours to rock and it is pretty easy to blend.

Royal Blue happens to be a personal favourite of mine, so excuse my bias.

It's become a favourite for designers all over the world going by recent pictures from different fashion shows and runway events.

With inspiration from the clouds, sky and water, which always hold a shade of blue, the pieces that have been showcased this year have been unique, seamless and bold.

1) Don't be afraid of bold prints. when it comes to blues, they are mostly easy to blend so you can try something a bit dialed down for accessories either in a lighter shade or solid colours like black or white.

2) Blending different shades of blue always works. you could pull together 5 different shades of blue and it would still work. Just be sure to use far apart shades like a sky blue skirt or pant matched with a royal blue top.

3) You can also go for a stand out statement piece like a bold coloured high-waist pant matched with a solid coloured top and you can use a variety of shades for accessories.
