President John Mahama has said work is progressing steadily on the aerodrome project in Ho in the Volta Region.
The 25 million dollar project, Mahama said, is fully funded by the Ghana Airports Company and will be ready by the first half of next year.

He made these comments in an interview with Ho based Volta Star radio as part of his three day accounting to the people tour of the region
When completed, the aerodrome will comprise of a 1,900 metre run way, an air traffic control tower, 1,150 capacity passenger Lounge among others.
The project is also expected to open up the Volta Region to local and foreign investors, boost agriculture and tourism.
