Elections 2020: Osofo Kyiri Abosom visits Asantehene
The flagbearer of the Ghana Union Movement, Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews, who styles himself as Osofo Kyiri Abosom has paid a courtesy call on the overlord of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to officially inform him of his intention to contest the 2020 general election.

He assured the Asantehene of his preparedness in ensuring free and fair elections, adding that Ghana is the only country we have as a people and, therefore, underscored the need for peace to prevail in the country.
He noted that the party is prepared to win power in the 2020 elections and rescue Ghanaians from hardships.
He stressed that the party's goal is to offer Ghanaians the best solutions to addressing the various economic challenges that have derailed Ghana's development agenda.
