Sekondi Market gutted by fire
The Sekondi Market was gutted by fire on Tuesday evening leaving goods of traders destroyed despite the intervention of the Ghana Fire Service.

The fire is reported to have gutted some parts of the market on Tuesday evening.

The cause of the fire is, however, not yet known.
According to reports, several goods were destroyed by the fire which will cost the Sekondi traders thousands of Ghana Cedis.
A quick intervention by the Ghana Fire Service helped save the situation, preventing the fire from causing further damage.
