The Black Stars of Ghan will continue with their preparations for the 2017 AFCON qualifier against Mauritius on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Avram Grant's team to intensify training in Accra
The team will train 4:00pm this afternoon under the guidance of coach Avram Grant and his assistant Maxwell Konadu.
The four-time African champions started training on Saturday in Dodowa with just eleven players but saw the number increase to thirteen on the second day with the arrival of AshGold defender Kadiri Mohammed and WAFA winger Samuel Tetteh.
Deputy skipper Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan Ayew who played in Joseph Yobo’s testimonial on Friday are expected to be at training today.
Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey who missed out of winning the UEFA Champions league has also been named in the team for the first time as well as Kazakhstan based striker Patrick Twumasi who recently played in the champions League with Astana.
