It was goals galore on matchday two of the ongoing Milo U-13 Champions League, as teams from all 16 regions battled for supremacy.

The competition, which is being hosted at the Paa Joe Park, inside the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science of Technology (KNUST), started on Wednesday with the games continuing today (Thursday).

Akweiman D/A Primary and Kaladan E.P Primary emerged the biggest winners on the day following heavy wins over Tanga Primary and Karni D/A Primary, respectively.

In Group A, Tanga Primary from the Upper East region were routed 7-0 by Akweiman D/A Primary from the Greater Accra region, before losing again 2-1 to Bodaa R/C Primary from the Bono region.

In Group B, Krasec L/A Primary defeated Wusuta L/A Primary from the Volta region 3-1, while St. Joseph International School from the Ahafo region also won 4-1 against the latter.

Group C saw Kaladan E.P from the Northern region thrash Upper West region’s Karni D/A Primary 6-0, with Nkawkaw Methodist from the Eastern region also emerging 2-0 winners over WaleWale D/A Primary from the North East region.

The leaders of each group will qualify for the semi-finals, with the winners of that clash facing off in the main final.

The games will continue on Friday, with the final set to take place on Saturday at the same venue.
