Kotoko survive Bekwai Youth FC scare to qualify on penalties

Asante Kotoko survived the scare of BYF Academy and advanced to the round of 32 at Bekwai, following a 3-1 victory on penalties aginst BYF Academy.

Kwame Boateng gave Asante Kotoko the lead ,in the 47th minute, but  Thomas Gyawu put the the lower division side level to throw the game into penalty shootout.

In the penalty shootout Asante Kotoko managed a 3-1 win over BYF Academy.
