French newspaper L’Equipe have published a list of the 12 highest earning managers in European club football.

Barcelona’s Luis Enrique tops the list, earning €1.56million per month after tax. By contrast, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is only ninth on the list, earning just under half a million Euros per month.

Pep Guardiola is the highest earning manager in the Premier League, closely followed by Man United’s Jose Mourinho.

Arsene Wenger misses out on the top four this time, coming in at fifth place. The Frenchman earns €820,000 per month after tax, despite having not won the league title since 2003/04.

Wenger earns more than the managers of Liverpool and league leaders Chelsea, who come in at 7th and 8th respectively.
