AFRIMA2018: Davido wins Artiste of the Year

Nigerian artiste Davido has emerged as the Artiste of the Year at 2018 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held in Ghana at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The event is regarded as the biggest music festival in Africa and deserving artistes in the year under review will be awarded based on public votes.

It seeks to reward and celebrate musical works, talents and creativity around the African continent while promoting Africa's cultural heritage.

Since AFRIMA was established in 2014, this is the first time the biggest music event in Africa is being held outside Nigeria.
