Obama's daughter joins "Girls" TV show as intern

Barack Obama’s daughter Malia has reportedly bagged herself an internship working on hit critically-acclaimed HBO show, Girls with Lena Dunham.

The soon-to-be 17-year-old, whose birthday is on Saturday, was seen at the Aurora Ristorante in Brooklyn, according to reports.

The first daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama has apparently been snapped on the set of the show and the news follows on from a previous media internship which saw her working on Extant  last year, a TV show starring Halle Berry.

Malia was pictured fetching coffee for the cast in Los Angeles and helping block the public from entering scenes during shooting.Michelle Obama has publicly spoken about her eldest daughter's desire to get into movies.

While her father's time in the White House has almost ended, Malia Obama's career in Hollywood seems to be just getting off the ground.
