Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds might be the most awesome couple in Hollywood. They speak about each other with such love, troll the heck out each other on social media, and generally seem pretty perfect for each other.

Now, Blake is opening up about one of the reasons why they work so well together: They both get how bizarre their careers are.

“In general, it's nice to have someone who understands what you're doing,” Blake said on Good Morning America on Monday. “Especially because our job is so weird—you have to be 'married' to other people, it's all so strange. It's never normal, even when you're both doing it.”

And, of course, there are sex scenes. “It's helpful to know when you're acting that you're in a relationship with someone else, that that's not what's actually happening,” Blake said. “Because I have friends who aren't married to someone who's in the business, so they're like: ‘Oh, so you're not actually making love in that scene?!’ And I'm like: ‘No, no, no, no, definitely not.’”

Blake was also asked about some hilarious tweets Ryan has sent out lately, including this one:

And her response was awesome. First, she says she lost her Twitter password about a year and a half ago so she hasn’t been keeping up. “Everybody's always asking about it, but I never know,” Blake says. “He's so funny, but [needs] a lot of therapy.”

Clearly, Blake can dish it out, too. She trolled Ryan on Instagram after he was named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People this year:

Sigh. It’s not all jokes for these two: We’re still obsessed with Ryan’s comments to the photoblog Humans of New York earlier this year, where he raved about Blake’s kindness. “She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy. She’ll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were 5 or 6 years old. And she’s made me a more empathetic person,” he said. “I had a very fractured relationship with my father. Before he died, she made me remember things I didn’t want to remember. She made me remember the good times.”

Love them!
