How Sevilla striker went from being a fisherman to one of Europe's best strikers
Carlos Bacca is currently the most sought after striker in world football, but just six years ago he was just an unknown fisherman in Colombia.
The 28-year-old yesterday, Wednesday May 27 scored a brace as Sevilla retained their UEFA Europa League trophy with a 3-2 victory over Dnipro.
In 2009 however before getting his first professional contract at Atlético Junior, Bacca was working part-time as a fisherman to support himself and his family finaincially.
Bacca had also worked as a bus driver's assistant, to earn more money since his family came from a poor background.
Things started to get better however and a year later he became the highest goalscorer in the Copa Colombia.
In 2012 he moved to Club Brugge in Belgium before joining Sevilla a year later.
