Mrs. Blay died on Monday, December 12, 2016 , aged 47.  The “Take Away” hitmaker disclosed that his wife did not show any signs of sickness prior to her death at the 37 Military Hospital.

In an interview with the Hit FM, the  singer said:

“On Saturday, I was at church rehearsing with the band and choir for Sunday church service when I had a call that she had been rushed to the Lapaz Community Hospital. When I saw her condition upon my arrival at the hospital, I requested that she should be transferred to 37 Military Hospital.

They accepted my plea and transferred her around 11pm Saturday. From that 11pm Saturday till the time she died on Monday, she was in coma – she couldn’t tell anybody what happened to her.”

He added that the death of his wife has negatively affected two of his children who are currently writing their end of semester exams at the university.
