Akosua Agyepong denies dating Rex Omar

Celebrated Ghanaian musician, Akosua Agyepong has refuted assertions that she dated her former band mate, Rex Omar.

Speaking on Morning Starr, Akosua noted that Rex Omar never proposed to her.

“We were very close and people said a lot of things about us. But I can tell you with all sincerity that we had nothing going on. Rex never said anything like that to me.”

Akosua Agyepong met Rex Omar and Nat Brew after releasing her debut in the mid-1990s. The trio teamed up to form Nakorex and released the popular song.

The group split and Akosua resurfaced as a gospel artiste.
