“When we decided to play in division one a lot of people did not understand. When the verdict came out a meeting was arranged in the residence of the director Kurt Okraku at 1 am. Everyone had to be present at the meeting. The legal team wanted us to hang on and that they were going to keep pushing until they could no further do so.

“In the voice of Kurt Okaraku he replied by saying we needed to let sleeping dogs lie.”

He did go on to cite the long term plan of the club going into the next season in the Ghana Premier League.

“The plan is to stay in the Premier League as long as possible and we would not want to go back to Division One.

“The long term plan is that in the not too long distant future we would want to play in Africa. In playing in Africa we will need to either win the league or the FA cup. We do feel this is a great avenue to advertise our players.

“We are looking at it and exploring all possibilities to make it a reality. We also want to have our own stadium, build a good club house, and have our own gym and training pitch. We want to have our ultra-modern facility and our partners in Europe have assured as that it is doable in the next two or three years. We are also working towards that on our own. There a lot of things on paper we do feel we want to achieve by year 2020.”

Mr Asante Twum did go on to thank the media for being supportive and he did like the fact that those in the press called to see how the club was faring even in Division One.
