In a series of head-to-head comparisons that are already stirring conversations among fans, the award-winning artiste shared his candid views on some of boxing’s most iconic names across different eras.

When asked to choose between Terence Crawford and Lennox Lewis, Sarkodie gave the nod to the British heavyweight, applauding Lewis’ dominance during the 1990s and early 2000s.

However, Lewis’ run ended when matched against Mike Tyson. Sarkodie sided with Tyson, widely known as “The Baddest Man on the Planet,” crediting his explosive impact and fearsome presence inside the ring.

Tyson continued to edge out several elite names in Sarkodie’s rankings. The rapper placed him above Manny Pacquiao, Evander Holyfield, Canelo Alvarez, and even Tyson Fury — reinforcing Tyson’s lasting aura in boxing history.

But when it came to the ultimate pound-for-pound debate, Tyson’s momentum stalled. Sarkodie chose Floyd Mayweather Jr. over Tyson, praising the American’s undefeated record and technical brilliance.

Mayweather also ranked above Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, Shane Mosley, Wladimir Klitschko, and even YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in the rapper’s hierarchy.

In what is likely to generate the most controversy, Sarkodie placed Mayweather above Muhammad Ali, arguing that pure boxing skill should be the defining measure of greatness.
