Wisa tops Google's top 10 most searched Ghanaian entertainers of 2016

This year, Wisa topped the 10 top most searched Ghanaian entertainers list followed by controversial musician, Lord Paper.

This year, Wisa topped the 10 top most searched Ghanaian entertainers list followed by controversial musician, Lord Paper.

Wisa's progress on the charts could be as a result of his controversial stage performance at last year's December to Remember concert organised by Citi FM. Lord Papper's progress could also be as a result of his viral NSFW music video for his debut single titled "Awurama".

Kumawood actor, Wayoosi, who was rumoured to have passed away made it to the third spot. Gospel musician Ernest Opoku, late Hiplife artiste Daasebre Gyamenah and rappers; Sarkodie and E.L also made it to the list.

Three foreign entertainers also made it to the list. American singer Selena Gomez, British singer Zayn Malik and Nigerian actress Funke Akindele entered the list.
