Barcelona star, Lionel Messi has had his waxwork unveiled at the popular wax museum, Madame Tussauds in New York.
The image of the four-time Ballon d'Or winner was replicated in wax which shows him in a running pose.
The pose was a replicate of a game play from one of Argentina’s matches during the 2014 World Cup campaign in Brazil.
The Lionel Messi wax according to the makes took four months to be completed with more than 250 measurements from both photo and video references used.
Messi’s figure will appear in the studio’s interactive area where fans can try and replicate their favourite players’ shots in a virtual arena.
The Lionel Messi wax work joins the likes of other sports great-Serena Williams and Muhammad Ali - in the Sports Zone of the Madame Tussauds.
Madame Tussauds is a wax museum with branches in a number of major cities around the world.
