In one of Mahama's latest Instagram posts (which is yet to be confirmed) he allegedly accompanied a photo of Mzbel reading the President's "Accounting to the People" book with the message “my crazy, controversial, troublesome, hardworking, fun but shy daughter”.

Mzbel attracted public attention after she was seen wearing the party colours and holding their green book which consists of all the achievements of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mzbel is not the only celebrity who has declared her support for Mahama. John Dumelo, Tracey Boakye, Jewel Ackah, Mr Beautiful and Abieku Santana are among the list of celebrities who have openly declared their support for Mahama.
