American football star cancels engagement with TV personality Draya Michele

 
 
American football star,<strong> Orlando Scandrick</strong> has called off his engagement with TV personality <strong>Draya Michele </strong>less than a month after he proposed.

The Dallas Cowboys cornerback told TMZ that the proposal was a mistake.

"I have made the decision to call off the engagement and permanently end the relationship I had with Draya," the 28-year-old revealed.

"In hindsight, it was a poor decision to propose.

"I am anxious to move on with my life both personally and professionally."

Orlando popped the question to the 'Basketball Wives LA' star back in June with a massive diamond ring.

After the proposal, Draya took to her Instagram account to express her excitement after she said yes to the American footballer.

"Yesterday, the love of my life asked me to be his wife. I said Yes! Love you forever starts now," Draya wrote on Instagram while showing of her ring.

She also spoke to TMZ about her plans for the wedding, including the intention to invite Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

The couple had dated for two years.
