The stories which were grossly exaggerated, when combined with Efe's fluent pidgin in the house, led many to believe that he was a drop out.

However, Efe studied and graduated from  University of Jos and went on to serve in the National Youth Service Corp.

Of course, photos of his days in service have turned up on the internet.

Efe was announced as the winner of the BBNaija show after getting the highest votes of the five finalists, himself along with Bisola, Tboss, Marvis and Debie-Rise.

He went home with the N25 million cash price and a Kia SUV.
