Sarkodie Rejects Tema Girls

Our elders say “Nobody point his/her father’s home with his/her left hand”, but it seems Ghana’s top influential act, Sarkodie don’t give a damn about it. Tema, a place that bread and raised the Sarkcess Music record label founder and artiste in a recent music release proves why he would reject his home girls for a foreigner.

He demonstrated this in his latest song titled “Special Someone” featuring two top class African acts; South African rapper AKA and Nigerian Dancehall/reggae star Burna Boy.

Sarkodie, who is currently on top of the game won several nominations in this year’s 4syte music video awards and he is releasing other good videos of late.

But along the line, his is a bit controversial in his musical lyrics. On the “ Special Someone” song, he ignorantly shunned Tema girls who been his backbone in his entire music career.

In the third line of his first rap, he said “M’agyae Tema girls ab3fa wo” in the Akan local dialect which translates “I will shun Tema girls to marry you”. This goes a long way to create an impression that he doesn’t appreciate the immense support these Tema girls have been offering him all along.
