Maxwell Konadu has been relentless - Abubakari Damba.

Ex Black Star goalkeeper Ababubakari Damba has insisted that Maxwell Konadu has proven that he is good enough for the Black Stars job after qualifying the team the semi-finals of the WAFU tournament.

In speaking to Class FM, Abubakari Damba said that amidst the bashing, Konadu has really proven his mettle so far in the tournament.

“With all the bashing, Konadu has been relentless, he has not allowed that to get to him, he is still working and in charge.”

“He listens to the criticisms which have shown that he needs to work harder and put on his thinking cap."

Ababukari Damba also went ahead to defend Maxwell Konadu on the players he selected for the WAFU tournament.

“If you listen to Maxwell Konadu before the tournament he did say that he was constrained because of the number of players he had to select.”

“He is the manager in charge and called the players so the only thing is that invited players should be dynamic in where they are being deployed to play depending on their abilities and capabilities.”

Ghana plays Niger on the 21st of September, 2017 in order to book a place to the final of the 2017 WAFU tournament.
